Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our boutique law firm We are focused primarily on Estate Planning (Trusts, Wills, Power of Attorneys, Probate, etc.) and Real Estate (Deed drafting, Conveyancing, Sales and Acquisitions, etc.) You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. Responsibilities: Draft and review deeds, land court petitions, probates, and other similar legal documents. Draft legal documents including pleadings, briefs, motions, and agreements. File legal documents with various courts. Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Monitor and ensure clients' files are moving along. Record and store client information. ​ Qualifications: High school diploma required. Prior experience working with deeds and real estate-related work is strongly preferred but not required. Paralegal certificate is a plus but not required. Relevant computer knowledge and experience. Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Excellent planning and organizing skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
