Weaver is looking for a full-time Leather Cutter to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities to include: Organize products to be cut on a daily basis in the most efficient manner. Read and follow work order instructions. Use a draw gauge, round knife, or strap cutting machine to produce cut leather products with a minimum amount of waste. Assure that products are accurately cut from appropriate materials to meet quality standards. Be knowledgeable about grades of leather and defects in leather. Maintain a neat, clean work area. Other related duties as assigned by supervision. Minimum Requirements: At least 18 years of age. Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery. Must understand measurements and be able to accurately read a tape measure. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
