As a Leader in Training, you’ll become a valuable contributor to the retail team by driving sales and developing relationships, while building your resume and growing in your career. You will also be working directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit new Teammates and provide leadership to the store. Compensation: Pay Range: $18.29 to $19.00. Buckle pays a base rate plus commission on your sales. The range listed is an average of the base rate plus commission for Teammates at this location. Sales Generation and Guest Service: Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and consistently provide legendary service. Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise. Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs. Anticipate and fulfill Guest’s needs by suggesting additional items. Demonstrate product utilizing product knowledge. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions. Achieve personal sales-per-hour and total net sales goals. Provide legendary service throughout the store. Maintain and build good Guest relationships. Lead by example with high levels of customer service. Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: Recognize recruiting opportunities. Assist in leading, directing, motivating and educating new Teammates. Maintain a positive attitude at all times. Participate effectively in daily setup and training. Motivate Teammates to initiate and complete daily tasks. Operations: Ability to work a flexible schedule. Understand and utilize planner including completion of Opening and Closing Checklists. Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts. Follow all Loss Prevention guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store. Supervisory and Leadership: Comfortable in giving and receiving feedback. Supportive of Leadership. Promote personal and store growth.
