Job Description Coordinate and implement the pit procedures. Maintain two-way communication with subordinates to ensure awareness of new policies or procedures. Maintain a high degree of professionalism when dealing with subordinates and customers. Act as a Casino Operations Shift Manager designee at times in which may be responsible for taxable jackpots in slots. Adhere to guest service requirement listed above. Adhere to, interpret, support, and explain established company policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state, federal and other regulatory procedures. Maintain a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Senior Management of the casino as well as Senior Management of Ameristar Casino, Inc. This is a non-uniformed position, which requires the team member be in compliance with non-uniformed appearance standards while on duty Must maintain the strictest confidence pertaining to any and all confidential and propriatary information disclosed by an Ameristar entity or by a guest of Ameristar Casinos Address team member questions and concerns; conduct internal investigations as needed. Develop, implement, maintain, and monitor an effective team member relations program through effective communication. Qualifications Sound knowledge of casino games. Knowledgeable of applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Fully Competent in Microsoft Office Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must have excellent business communication skills and strong time management skills. Ability to effectively work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to stand a minimum of eight (8) hours.
