Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Tech II to join the Laboratory Department Description: The selected applicants will perform various waived, moderately and highly complex hematologic, chemical, immunohematologic, immunologic/serologic, microscopic, and microbiological tests on specimens to obtain data for use in diagnosis or treatment of diseases. Requirements: National certification as an MT/MLS/MLT by an approved agency (ASCP or AMT) required Two years Lab Tech I or II experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or an Associate's degree in laboratory science from an accredited institution that includes successful completion of an approved clinical laboratory training program required. Knowledge of lab equipment, quality control methods, and report management required Hours: May work twelve (12) hour shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.
