Help provide a warm, welcoming environment for staff and residents alike as a Kitchen/Servery/Cleaning Attendant at our Alice Ross-King Care Centre and Gordon Lodge facilities in Bull Creek. As a Kitchen/Servery/Cleaning Attendant with RAAFA, you will work closely and collaboratively with other teams and clinical staff to ensure the needs and desires of the residents are met efficiently and effectively. Communicate with residents and staff to ensure that meals and snacks provided meet quality and choice expectations. Assist residents with choices from the menu as published. Perform cleaning duties as per the kitchen cleaning schedules and documenting when duties are completed. Collect, launder, fold and return linen for residents as per the cleaning schedule. Ensure the laundry is clean, tidy and equipment is used safely and correctly. Contribute to a safe working environment by identifying or reporting all incidents, accidents and hazards. Contribute to maintaining a home-like environment for residents. About you: Previous experience working in a hospitality environment. Ability to work autonomously and with a multidisciplinary team. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to relate to the elderly with empathy and understand their needs. Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks. Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families and staff.
