Responsibilities&Qualifications The Jr. Network Engineer will work within a collaborative team to provide core engineering support for clients' wireless and wired networks. This will include upgrading,configuring, and managing enterprise management systems, Wireless Controllers, Access Points, Switches, and Routers. TheJr.Network Engineer will also remotely support onsite teams with theinstallation orlife cycle replacement ofwirelessand/or wiredinfrastructure at customer sites. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Configuration of wireless infrastructure including Wireless Controllers and Access Points Configuration of wired infrastructure including routers and switches. Operations and ManagementSystems Ability to work both within a team and individually with minimal supervision. Physical racking, cabling, configuration, or management of various network devices. Conducting RF surveys and developing wireless design and survey reports Swapping and installing new devices and access points/ Need to be able to lift up to 50lbs Potentially required to utilize lifts to REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1-3 years of experience in enterprise network implementation or support 1-3 years of experience in wireless infrastructure support in a large environment 1-3 years of experience in LAN infrastructure support in a large environment Familiarity with network management systems wireless solutions including Controllers and Access Points Familiarity with Network Management systems and NAC appliances such as Cisco Prime infrastructure,, and Cisco ISE, Cisco Catalyst Center or similar applications Experience with Layer 2/3 switches and routers Familiarity with Wired and Wireless network devices from vendors such as Juniper/Mist and HPE/Aruba. Familiarity with network design and implementation methodology and concepts.
