Japanese Bilingual Business Development Rep/Account Manager - Dallas, TX Industry: IT Location: Dallas, TX Salary: DOE Visa Sponsor: No Language: English: Business Level, Japanese: Native Level Japanese IT company is seeking a Business Development Rep/Account Manager. JOB TITLE: Business Development Rep/Account Manager DEPARTMENT: Business Development (BD) FLSA STATUS: Exempt REPORTS TO: Director of Business Development I. Job Description Summary The Business Development (BD) Rep/Account Manager (the “Rep”) is primarily responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners, promoting the company products and services, and achieving the individual BD goal through BD activities, mainly in the Texas and South-West region of the US. This position is required to complete the BD process including the customer contract and tasks necessary to gain customer liability working at the company Dallas office and remotely in the Greater Dallas area. II. Job Responsibilities and Duties Essential Functions Develop annual individual BD plan/goal and get approval by Director of BD. Develop and obtain new business opportunities with Japanese and American key customers in the region to achieve the BD goal. Establish, build and maintain customer relationships to ensure successful project execution. Upsell and cross-sell the company solutions to existing customers to expand business. Manage pre-sales process including pricing, proposals, and coordination with others to achieve customer satisfaction and maintain company standard gross profit. Specific tasks include lead generation, qualifying opportunities, scheduling appointments, creating presentations, understanding business needs, developing solutions and proposals, forecasting, and overcoming objections to close deals. Learn and enhance demonstration skills and values of Dynamics ERP and IT infrastructure, providing demonstrations mainly of Dynamics 365 BC. Provide regular reporting and updates of individual BD activities to the Director of BD and update data in the company CRM system accordingly. Assist Business Development activities of the team such as meeting attendance, note-taking, estimation, proposal and documentation for clients in Texas and other regions. Develop marketing plans in the region with the Director of BD and take actions for marketing (e.g., seminars, events, promotional emails, website enhancement, blogs). Develop innovative value propositions to maximize company and division revenue. Participate in mandatory training. Supporting Functions Collaborate with other members such as delivery and sales teams to help achieve company goals including customer contracts and service delivery. Contribute to improvements in services, revenue/profitability, methodologies, and procedures. Collaborate with other members to complete projects successfully and collect payments from customers. III. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum Qualification B.S. degree (e.g., business, economics, computer science or equivalent). 2 years outside BD or sales experience. Native level Japanese language (reading/written and verbal). Good command of English language (reading/written and verbal). Ability to build and maintain a strong BD pipeline. Ability to effectively and politely communicate with current and potential customers. Ability to understand and document customer needs and requirements. Ability to understand and present the company values, service, and product to prospects. Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the organization. Ability to design excellent solution proposals and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Ability for consultative and solution selling and for effective communication with C-level personnel of small to medium to enterprise clients. Ability to work as a team and with high accountability. Ability to provide effective presentation and demonstration of company products. Maintains a professional manner in attitude, conduct, time, and attire. Desirable Qualification Knowledge of IT and/or ERP systems. Excellent presentation skills. Familiarity with pre-sales process and methodology. Certification in pre-sales field in IT and ERP industry. V. Others Meets minimum quota and productivity requirements (KPI or other benchmarks). Travel to other regions as required by BD opportunities and projects.
