Job Description NMS is currently seeking candidates for on-call and rotational roles with flexible scheduling options. Employees may also have the opportunity to rotate or work in other NANA Villages as needed. This custodial position earns a competitive wage – starting at $19.50/HR DOE . If this sounds like the right janitorial opportunity for you, apply today Responsibilities Keep facilities looking good by cleaning during each custodial shift. Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, sanitizing, restocking rooms, and performing other janitorial work. Remove trash and transport it to the appropriate areas. Assist with light maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs as needed. Take pride in seeing the school shine at the end of each custodial shift. Qualifications At least 6 months of experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes. The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc. Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. A valid driver's license with a 3-year driving record that is acceptable to the company’s insurance carrier. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Weather: Indoor/Outdoor (Occasional exposure to moderate weather conditions) Office conditions: Pace of work environment: Medium Customer Interaction: High Description of environment: School facility Frequently required to walk and stand. Occasionally required to lift. Rarely required to pull and push. Physical requirements: Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
