RESPONSIBILITIES: We are currently seeking an Irrigation Technician who will: Replace and/or repair existing commercial irrigation systems. Know about controller programming and seasonal watering needs. Run new construction jobs, which include having the ability to read and understand specifications and drawings. Assist other areas of the landscape department when support may be needed. Maintain all company tools, parts, and equipment. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the job. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to perform repairs&service on most commercial irrigation systems. 10 years experience in commercial landscaping with a minimum of 5 years experience in commercial irrigation systems. Ability and knowledge of irrigation controllers and seasonal watering needs. Must be able to multi-task responsibilities and complete projects. Valid California Driver's License with a clean record. Must have the ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally. Must be exceptional in general landscape abilities and problem solving. Must use own small tools (screw drivers, wire strippers, etc.). Larger and more specialized tools will be provided. COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills&Abilities): Proficient English language skills (Speaking, Reading, Writing). Able to understand and work with smartphone technology. Effective time management and logical decision making ability. Ability to work under extreme pressure. Ability to perform the primary job responsibilities at the highest caliber, maximizing results.
