Job Description: Our Qualified Allied Professionals (Surgical Technicians) and Non-Health Degreed Professionals (NHD) experience a unique opportunity to employ their clinical expertise to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients. In this role, you will be responsible for providing consultation to healthcare and supply chain professionals through product validation relating to Procedure/Preference Cards. There are no sales responsibilities but having a background in consultative selling and influencing others is highly preferred. This position does not involve providing patient care. This opportunity is a great way to make an impact through healthcare professional education to improve patient outcomes. This per-diem position offers a consistent workload with an expected 40 hours per week. Responsibilities: Provide on-site assessment and analysis of Procedure Cards to gain alignment between supplies listed on the Procedure Card, supplies being provided by Case Pick, and supplies documented/utilized by staff for procedures. Gather and manipulate data necessary to measure used supplies for surgical procedures. Based on data provided by the customer, provide recommendations to improve supply match rate based on Procedure Cards from existing state to improve the accuracy rate of utilization. Meet with stakeholders as needed to gain consensus on alignment between surgical and supply chain teams regarding Procedure Card recommendations. Access and update preference cards in customers' EPIC system based on onsite observations and recommendations identified during onsite analysis. You will be supporting one site at a time and then moving onto a new site once the original assignment has been successfully completed. You will be responsible for covering the following Burroughs in the NYC metro area (NYC/Brooklyn/Cortlandt Manor/Bronxville and Flushing). Job Requirements: 2-5 years’ experience as an Allied Health Professional (Surgical Technicians) preferred. Prior experience in a perioperative setting required. Prior experience supporting medical devices preferred. High level of business acumen and professionalism required. Ability to travel regionally as needed to cover cases required. Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare staff to include technicians, physicians, nurses, and any support personnel. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. An active driver’s license and a personal vehicle for commuting to assignments within three hours of home are required. Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
