Investment Banking Analyst (Securitization Banking) (SG Americas Securities, LLC, New York, NY) Responsibilities: Perform financial analysis for transactions, utilizing analytical skills and knowledge of securitization terminology and methodology. Prepare and submit credit applications for approval of new transactions or annual renewal, amendment or extension of existing transactions including a written description of the company, its business, the structure of the transaction, an analysis of the performance of the receivables/loans collateral, the pricing and the return on capital for company and other information which may be required for a given transaction. Undertake industry, client, and asset specific research and assist in special projects. Utilize internal models to generate internal assigned ratings to securitization transactions. Create and present ad hoc reports or analysis as requested by senior members of the team. Work collaboratively with other team members or other groups at company as necessary. Assist other team members in developing marketing materials. Requires up to 20% domestic travel to visit clients or attend industry functions. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to SG Americas Securities LLC, 245 Park Ave., New York 10167. Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Global Finance, Economics, Finance, Financial Engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years of professional experience as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving financial or credit analysis. 2 years of professional experience performing financial and credit analysis including securitization transactions. 2 years of professional experience preparing credit applications and presentations at a nationally recognized credit rating agency. 2 years of professional experience utilizing computer programs including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, VBA and Bloomberg. 2 years of professional experience preparing and giving oral presentations and written communication with both internal and external parties. 2 years of professional experience utilizing financial structures and credit legal documentation.
