Information Systems and Simulations Trainer, Mid The Opportunity: Are you a trainer who is passionate about developing differentiated instruction and delivering it in exciting ways? As a trainer on our team, you'll prepare and deliver Mission Command and Simulations training based on event training plans. You'll train military users and develop training methods and materials, including curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with the client and user specifications. You'll maintain technical and tactical proficiency with the software and training support package (TSP) products for multiple Live, Virtual, and Constructive capabilities. You'll test and troubleshoot hardware and software to ensure minimal downtime of systems using capability documents and performance of operational readiness tests in preparation for training events. You'll also analyze and document flaws in system configuration and implement corrections, participate in special projects and perform additional duties to support client requirements, and move, transport, and set-up class and training material in different locations, as required. You Have: 2 years of experience with adult training Experience using military or commercial software and hardware developer's technical and training material to teach students Ability to deliver operator-level training in accordance with established training plans Ability to work weekends, holidays, and up to 12 hours a day outside of normal work hours Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30lbs Ability to stand for extended periods of time Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience with U.S. military training or supporting military operations Experience with Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Force Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Joint Capabilities Release (JCR), FBCB2 Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC-P), or Tactical Mission Command (TMC) servers Experience with Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) simulations and the Division Exercise Training and Review System (DXTRS) Experience creating training or teaching plans and materials Knowledge of staff operations Completion of a Foundational Instructor or Facilitator Course, including Association for Talent Development (ATD) Master Trainer, Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), or equivalent Sister Service Instructor Certification Course Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $105,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
