Human Resources Business Partner – local candidates only Our client, a well-established publicly traded company with a global presence, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their Dominguez, CA location. On site – local candidates only. Responsibilities of the Human Resources Business Partner Developing and executing business and HR strategies Ensuring employment laws and benefits compliance Providing HR strategies coaching Collaborating with site management to ensure alignment between operational decisions and HR strategies Assisting with recruiting needs, interviewing process, job description development, and other TA functions Working with unions on grievances resolutions and contact negotiation Providing merit review process support Assisting with professional development management Requirements of the Human Resources Business Partner Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related 5 years of union and non-union manufacturing operations Human Resources Business Partner experience Strong communication skills Strong organizational skills, with ability to effectively handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Thorough understanding of California state employment laws Ability to travel 30% Additional Details: Employment Type: contract Compensation: $60-$75/hr The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
