CDL Driver Trainer Duties&Responsibilities: Responsibilities include Training New Drivers, as well as driving Over the Road - Instruct and monitor new Drivers who have signed on to be an Over the Road Driver. - Observe and evaluate New Driver's Over the Road Driving performance and development - Provide appropriate feedback on performance - Maintain accurate and complete records of New Driver's progress and development - Teach the use of electronic logging equipment - Communicate necessary information regularly to new Driver and internal staff regarding New Driver's progress and performance Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Ability to be a self-starter, requiring minimal supervision. - Ability to function in a team-based environment. - Ability to make decisions and take appropriate action. - Ability to communicate effectively. - Ability to be flexible in a fast paced and changing environment.
