Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met. Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and that quality care is provided as residents’ healthcare needs change. Ensure consistent quality resident care and service delivery throughout all shifts; this may require assuming the role and responsibilities of a Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet the residents’ needs and staffing requirements. Assist in the supervision of community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, providing training and education on an ongoing basis, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manage associates' schedules. Oversee and manage the continuity and consistency of medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision and/or administration in the community. Conduct periodic Care Associate medication skills inventory checks and medication audits per Brookdale guidelines. Share on-call duties as required. Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience. LPN or LVN license.
