You will be a huge asset on busy days, working the sales lines and making sure guests are in the correct location for their needs. You will provide heaps of information that helps to provide the best experience for our first-time guests as well as returners The Greeter/Host, as a part of the Product Sales&Services department, is responsible for (including but not limited to) creating a warm and welcoming first impression to our guests by greeting them in our various ticket, pass, and activity sales locations. The position requires providing information, directions, and product knowledge while offering expert advice regarding town and resort services and sharing regional highlights. Follow company/department policies&procedures while interacting with a high volume of guests and effectively managing the queue (line). The Greeter/Host must pay attention to details of the operation while being an independent problem solver, ensuring each guest’s needs are met appropriately. Part-time and full-time positions available. This position can be located at any of our ticket or activity sales locations. Locations primarily sell day tickets, season passes, and ski and ride school products. The greeter will also assist with guest service and general information about Kirkwood. Candidates should have the ability to retain a significant amount of information and be able to stand outside in high alpine weather conditions. Job Specifications: Expected Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00 / hour Shift&Schedule Availability: Full Time&Part Time Housing: May Be Available Skill Level: Lead Job Requirements: Positive, proactive work ethic and a desire to sell/up-sell Ski and Ride School Products. Ability to work on a team and maintain a positive attitude. Ability to speak, read, and communicate in English. Must enjoy working directly with guests for a majority of the day. Must be able to arrive at various locations around the resort on time, regardless of weather conditions. Previous work experience in Guest Services is preferred. Comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment. Comfortable working outside for extended periods of time. Comfortable standing for long periods of time. Willing to commit to a work schedule which includes working weekends and holidays. Lead team efforts in capturing/tracking line wait data in location and utilize it to improve location's GX scores. Willing to make a seasonal commitment through the end of the season. High School Diploma or GED - required. Must be 18 years or older. The expected pay range is $22.00 - $23.00.
