Objectives of this Role: Join project teams to research and develop new decision support tools for SwRI clients. Implement modern and traditional machine learning algorithms to solve novel problems. Summer 2025 internship position. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Apply state-of-the-art machine learning software solutions for artificial intelligence systems in the healthcare field. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss technical solutions to problems. Develop tools and techniques to improve our team's research and development capability. Requirements: Requires a Bachelors, Masters or a PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or Artificial Intelligence. 0 years: BS candidates must have relevant academic research and/or internship experience. MS and PhD candidates must be pursuing some graduate work related to machine learning, statistics, and/or artificial intelligence. Coursework/project work in Python. Some experience with ML libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Sklearn. Excellent mathematical skills in linear algebra and statistics. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
