Job Description Job Description The Foreclosure Attorney position will provide our new hire with a uniquely experiential opportunity to immerse themselves in the day-to-day bustle of a prestigious legal group’s Foreclosure Department. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience practicing law, preferably, but not necessarily in foreclosure, the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, produce accurate and high-quality work product in a fast-paced volume-based environment. The candidate must be able to work independently and possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Newly barred attorneys welcome to apply. Specific Job Responsibilities: Manage portfolio of loans during the pendency of the lawsuit Draft and review pleadings and correspondence during the pendency of a foreclosure action Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Bar Membership in OH, KY preferred. Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; strong interpersonal skills Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence Demonstrate an excellent ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations Meticulous analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently Required Education and Training: Superior organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and efficiency Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred 2 years of experience practicing law in, preferably, but not necessarily in foreclosure
