Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial-grade equipment in various business establishments. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer service to ensure efficient and reliable operation of dishwashing equipment. The role involves working both independently and as part of a team, often at customer locations. Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to accommodate emergency repairs or installations. Personal protective equipment may be required when handling certain chemicals or during installation and maintenance activities. Responsibilities Installation of Dish Machines: Install and set up commercial dishwashing machines. Connect water, electrical, and drainage systems to ensure proper functionality. Test equipment to ensure it meets standards. Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment to identify and address potential issues. Clean and inspect components. Replace worn-out or faulty parts to prevent breakdowns. Diagnostic and Repairs: Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions. Repair or replace defective components. Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance. Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand and address their concerns. Provide guidance on proper usage and maintenance practices to maximize equipment lifespan. Offer technical support and training to end-users. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Document parts used and ensure accurate inventory management. Qualifications Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of commercial dishwashing machine systems and components. Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals. Prioritize customer satisfaction and provide timely solutions. Physical: Capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in physically demanding environments. Comfortable working in tight spaces and at various heights. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in appliance repair or a related field.
