Our client is looking to hire a Nurse Practitioner. Family The Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner delivers medical care at a community health center, reporting to the Medical Director or a designated physician, and supervising the Nurse Care Coordinator.

Job Function:

Conducts comprehensive history and physical examinations.
Manages primary medical care for adults, addressing both acute and chronic conditions.
Provides Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Buprenorphine therapy.
Assesses patient conditions, sets goals, and prescribes appropriate interventions.
Documents clinical information in electronic health records.
Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Performs direct patient care procedures.
Participates in developing care standards and quality assurance programs.
Coordinates medical consultations and patient transfers.
Provides emergency medical care and advocates for patients.
Educates patients on health promotion and disease prevention.

Job Requirements:

New York State licensure and registration as a Nurse Practitioner.
Experience in Primary Care, HIV/AIDS management, harm reduction, and Buprenorphine treatment.
Certification in Nursing practice or expertise in HIV/AIDS medicine.
Preferred experience with electronic health records.
Visual and auditory acuity for medical procedures and patient interaction.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
Current DEA registration, CPR certification, and Infection Control certification.
Maintenance of required CMEs/CEUs.
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
