If so, we invite you to apply today To succeed in this role, you must have a four-year degree in Construction or Engineering (or equivalent) and 4-6 years of commercial construction experience, including estimating. You will be responsible for creating accurate project estimates, capturing cost history, providing value analysis, and offering preconstruction support to projects and project management teams. Experience with projects ranging from $5M to $100M. Some things you can expect to do: Work to develop conceptual and detailed estimates. Perform quantity take-offs of all construction systems. Create project estimates individually and with a team. Solicit subcontractor pricing for budgeting and bid proposals. Scope and select subcontractors based on best value and project requirements. Record final estimates and maintain cost history. Support the development, architectural, and construction team with preconstruction expertise including value design, costs, project schedule, procurement, and project pursuits. Consistently achieve customer satisfaction and Total Project Success goals. Review and provide feedback on project estimates created by team members. Provide direction for understanding project scope, market pricing, and available resources. Assist clients and developers with conceptual budgets. Capable of cost modeling using Uniformat II system costs. You will really stand out if you: Have knowledge of construction means and methods and can read and understand project plans. Proficient with CSI and Uniformat II work breakdown structures. Able to perform thoughtful and accurate quantity take-offs, and summarize data in a meaningful way. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and OST. Working knowledge of Destini, VICO, Navisworks, and Revit is a plus. Knowledge of design-build, CM at Risk, and best-value processes. Exhibit positive and effective communication abilities. Able to teach skills and knowledge to others. Knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, and procurement methods. Able to listen, prioritize, and value the opinions of others. Flexible and able to adapt to various circumstances. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Complete tasks timely and thoroughly. Be a self-starter with a positive demeanor. Show thoroughness and pride of ownership in work product. Work well in teams. Organize self and others. Have a 4-year construction/engineering degree or equivalent. Have experience in the relevant field. Have 4-6 years of commercial construction experience as an Estimator I. Eligibility: Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation: The annual base pay is $73,500.00 - $91,850.00. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
