Position Overview The Environmental Project Manager will oversee and manage environmental remediation projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. This role involves coordinating efforts between various stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining a focus on environmental sustainability. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage environmental remediation projects from inception to completion. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential environmental impacts. Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and management. Manage project resources effectively, ensuring optimal performance and productivity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field or or commensurate experience in lieu of degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental project management, specifically in remediation and construction. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements. Proven project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery. Certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer), PMP (Project Management Professional), or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) are preferred but not required. Experience managing projects for federal clients (USACE/Department of Defense or other federal agencies) HAZWOPER certification is highly desirable. Experience with federal bidding processes and contract management. Strong experience on the technical implementation side of environmental project management.
