Key Responsibilities We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to specialize in the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of autonomous vehicles. This role is essential for the smooth operation and innovation of our AV fleet. Conduct detailed inspections and routine maintenance of vehicle systems, including chassis, suspension, brakes, steering, and throttle. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues specific to autonomous vehicles like sensor installation and alignments. Perform modification and replacement for aftermarket autonomous vehicles. Participate in validation tests after repairing or replacing. Documentation of processes, procedures and results. Experience with heavy-duty trucks maintenance including diagnostic and repairs. In-house manufacturing experience. Capability with understanding CAD drawings and BOMs. Requirements Required: ASE Certification or relevant technical certification in automotive mechanics, with a focus on emerging technologies. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting autonomous vehicle systems. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Experience in automotive mechanics, with specific skills in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is preferred.
