Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting medical professionals during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in aseptic techniques and medical terminology. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain endoscopic equipment, ensuring all instruments are sterile and functioning properly. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures by providing necessary instruments and support. Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout the procedure, reporting any concerns to the medical team. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures at all times. Document procedures accurately in patient records, including any observations or complications encountered. Educate patients on pre-procedure preparations and post-procedure care instructions. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
