Embedded Service Technician - Chicago, IL National Accounts National Accounts August 12, 2024 Security 101 – National Accounts is now recruiting for a Commercial Security Service Technician in Chicago, IL who has Lenel On-Guard experience servicing&programming commercial security devices primarily IP network systems and overall security systems for modifications or maintaining existing security systems. This is a Data Center embedded role in Chicago, IL. Relocation Assistance is Available. Hourly wage varies up to $65.00, non-exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience. Skills/Abilities: Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing, troubleshooting networked access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems, including working on the customer’s network. Alternative experience such as a multi-site Network Support Specialist or similar. Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics with professionalism. Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential. Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction. Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR. Responsibilities: Servicing, troubleshooting, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision. Lenel On-Guard system knowledge of access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion, and visitor management, preferred. Troubleshooting networked IP video systems. Troubleshooting networked access control. Servicing commercial intrusion alarm systems and other IoT connected systems. Providing World Class customer service when dealing with customers. Education: High School (or GED) minimum requirement Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred) Security 101 is a DFWP and EOE.
