Ensure that all EZCap system eligibility data is current and accurate. Research and maintain systems and changes to existing eligibility in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Perform research and analysis of membership. Enter new member eligibility records into EZ Cap in accordance with established guidelines. Use activity analysis reports from the health plans to make changes to existing enrollees; i.e. benefit option changes, terminations, and address changes. Manually audit existing eligibility in EZ Cap against current eligibility. Investigate retroactive cancellations for services rendered by the member after the policy termination date for eligibility guarantee. Research problem eligibility on authorizations and/or claims forms by calling the health plans or utilizing any other source to resolve the problem. Assist personnel from other departments with eligibility issues. Any other duties as assigned by Lead or Department Head. Monitor queue, website, and email for inquiries. Respond timely to membership inquiries. Perform other duties assigned by management. Organizational Responsibilities: Proactively support and practice company mission, vision, and values. Communicate verbally and in writing through appropriate channels. Maintain confidentiality at all times in compliance with company policy and HIPAA requirements. Complete all required annual Compliance training and sign attestation form for each module. Compensation: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $23/hour - $25/hour ; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Requirements: Education and/or Experience: High School Graduation or equivalency. Courses in bookkeeping, accounting, insurance billing, and data processing desirable.
