Prince William County is seeking qualified candidates for the position of County-wide Domestic Violence Coordinated Response (DVCR) Analyst. This is a newly created, grant funded role in Prince William County. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to engage and coordinate various stakeholders including the police department, Fire/EMS, the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, the Department of Social Services, Criminal Justice Services, community partner organizations, and other identified stakeholders. We seek a dedicated individual with outstanding coordination and outreach skills. The successful candidate will have proven experience working on domestic violence/intimate partner violence and/or related programming with a specific emphasis on facilitating multi-sector collaborations. ABOUT THE ROLE: The Domestic Violence Coordinated Response Analyst will be responsible for coordinating the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team (DVFRT), the Domestic Violence (DV) Council, the Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) program and other related prevention and intervention domestic violence programs. The selected candidate will: Coordinate the development and implementation of interdepartmental and community plans, strategies, policies, and communication for Domestic Violence Coordinated Community Response efforts. Oversee the coordination of the Domestic Violence (DV) Council and the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team (DVFRT). Facilitate strategic planning processes, policy and legislative analyses, data collection and reporting, benchmarking, process improvement, training, and other work related to domestic violence prevention, policy, and program management. Manage relationships with county agencies, community nonprofits, civic groups, and residents to ensure a coordinated community response to domestic and intimate partner violence. Act as a central point of contact for, and should have significant experience working on, issues of domestic/intimate partner violence as well as some familiarity with issues of sexual violence as well as stalking and human trafficking. Provide technical assistance to community and county partners as needed. Coordinate and implement critical time-sensitive special projects, program alliances, and joint initiatives. MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or GED and five years (5) of experience working in a human services role related to violence prevention/intervention, domestic violence/intimate partner violence, gender-based violence, social work, or social services. PREFERENCES: Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field Knowledge of Prince William County communities and resources. Experience and/or training in trauma-informed care, social work, and gender-based violence Experience with coordination of multiagency efforts. Experience working with a broad range of community-based groups and governmental agencies Experience working with at-risk individuals Experience with various computer applications such as Microsoft Office The ability to work independently or as part of a team with a diverse population Effective communications, organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively with community safety partners, coworkers, supervisors, the general public, and elected officials. Special Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required for this position, for occasional travel to fulfill job responsibilities. Work Schedule: 9:00am – 5:00pm, with some occasional evening/weekends depending on program needs.
