The Director of Compliance (Private Equity) position with the client in Washington DC involves overseeing and enhancing the compliance program for a private equity firm. Working closely with the General Counsel&Chief Compliance Officer, the Director of Compliance will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. This role also involves staying informed about changing regulations and industry trends to adjust the compliance program accordingly.Key responsibilities for the Director of Compliance include managing the compliance program in collaboration with the General Counsel&CCO. This includes establishing processes to ensure readiness for SEC examinations and other regulatory inquiries. The Director of Compliance will play a critical role in driving the firm's compliance initiatives and safeguarding its reputation by continuously enhancing the compliance program to meet evolving regulatory standards.The Director of Compliance position is a leadership role that requires a strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the private equity industry. The successful candidate will be proactive in monitoring regulatory changes, adapting the compliance program as needed, and ensuring the firm is prepared for regulatory examinations.
