You will serve as a liaison between the medical staff and administration, promoting positive working relationships and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. What You'll Do: Compliance Champion: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies (CMS, The Joint Commission, etc.), federal and state regulations, medical staff bylaws, and hospital policies. Relationship Builder: Foster strong relationships between the medical staff and administration, promoting effective communication and collaboration. Credentialing Expert: Oversee the credentialing process for medical staff and allied health professionals, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to standards. Policy&Procedure Guru: Develop, implement, and maintain medical staff policies and procedures, bylaws, and rules and regulations, ensuring they are current and compliant. Meeting Maestro: Plan and coordinate medical staff committee meetings, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication. Team Leader&Mentor: Lead and mentor the Medical Staff Services team, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality service delivery. What You'll Bring: Medical Staff Services Expertise: A Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in a Medical Staff Office setting, with 5 years of management experience. Certified Medical Staff Services Professional (CPMSM) preferred. Compliance Mindset: In-depth knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, Title 22, and other regulatory standards applicable to medical staff services. Communication&Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and navigate sensitive situations. Organizational&Analytical Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Leadership&Management Abilities: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, foster collaboration, and drive results. Why Join Us?
