The position reports to the VP of Finance and will often interact with the SVP of Finance, CFO and other leadership. The Details: This is a remote position. In this role, you will be responsible for: Leading, defining and performing complex financial analysis and building financial models for areas such as service line performance, contract types, performance vs. business development models, cash flow and collections, etc. Owning the organization’s long-term forecast / model Cash flow analysis, forecasting and reporting Supporting business leaders in analyses of their areas such as Revenue Cycle, Recruiting, IT Project ROIs, M&A ROIs, etc. Assisting in the preparation of board materials and ad-hoc C-suite / board / investor requests Supporting budget process and monthly reporting including working with business leaders to identify trends and quantify financial impacts Special Projects and Ad-hoc analysis for the Executive Leadership Team Assisting with monthly reporting Assisting with new business pro forma models What we are looking for: A successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of a combination of these values, knowledge, and experience: Values: Resourceful: Proactive willingness to utilize available information and tools to figure things out Adaptable: Demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to change as circumstances evolve Collaborative: Demonstrates the ability to work well with others to accomplish a goal and get the work done; takes opinions of others into consideration; includes others in the decision-making process Intellectually curious: Demonstrates a genuine interest in learning new things and wants to know the reason “why” behind the way things are done Passionate: Demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm for and excitement about the work; gets others excited about work or projects they're involved in and working on Strategic thinker: Demonstrates the ability to look at the big picture and proactively develop a plan of action Teamwork: Demonstrates the ability to pull people together into highly effective teams along with ability to work in a highly matrixed organization Critical Thinking: Demonstrates the ability to be proactive, anticipate needs; ability to make good decisions with incomplete, ambiguous information Analytical and Intellectually Curious: Demonstrates a genuine interest in learning new things and wants to know the reason “why” behind the way things are done Motivated: Demonstrates the ability to succeed and get things done at a high level of achievement Knowledge: BA/BS in Accounting or Finance Highly analytical, able to manage and understand large data sets, detail oriented and organized Strong understanding of finance and accounting including but not limited to financial statements, expenses vs. capitalization, discounted cash flow analysis, return on investment, etc. Demonstration of cross-functional collaboration and ability to execute work across numerous functional areas Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience: 5 – 8 years related experience in FP&A, investment banking, or consulting Experience working with and presenting to the C-suite Sound Physicians is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion at the bedside and in our workforce.
