Role Description: Reporting to our VP, Facilities, we are currently seeking a Director, Facilities to join our team in our Washington, DC location. The Director, Facilities will be responsible for leading operations associated with CoStar Group’s future headquarters in Rosslyn, VA. This position will also be responsible for managing a team of corporate real estate professionals. Responsibilities: Lead all functions and operations associated with a 550,000 SF owner-occupied multi-tenant building. Lead workplace services, vendor management, and facilities oversight of HQ location of an S&P 500 company, bringing white-glove hospitality level service to corporate amenities. Build and maintain relationships with CoStar Group business line leadership and key contacts, including supporting C-Suite needs. Serve as a conduit for strategic information impacting space demand and needs within the building for CoStar Group. Lead CoStar Group capital improvement projects, as well as oversee tenant improvements projects as needed. Oversee facilities management staff, regular performance monitoring, metrics, and overall operations success. Perform property inspections on a regular basis to ensure property condition is kept to a high standard at all times. Maintain a strong relationship and regular interaction with building tenants. Oversee building amenities - café, fitness, parking, and conferencing - including onboarding of vendors and management of ongoing operations and metrics. Own and manage the building operations budget, including preparing the annual operating budget for review and approval. Responsible for the final review and approval of all annual lease reconciliation and estimates. Work closely with Security team to ensure a safe environment in and around the building for CoStar Group employees, building tenants, and visitors. Responsible for the compliance of all tenant lease agreements to ensure all obligations of the Landlord and Tenant are being met. Collaborate with and support key stakeholders to ensure the success of major corporate events: Earnings calls, Investor days, Executive seminars, training. Launch and develop executive services strategy, anticipating needs and offering best-in-class services and deliverables. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit college or university. A track record of commitment to prior employers. 10 years of experience managing facility operations in a large urban high-rise building on behalf of property owner/occupant. Previous experience overseeing teams of contractors. Experience leading a team of corporate real estate professionals preferred. High sense of personal ownership, ensuring the best possible experience for our employees and tenants. This position offers a base salary range of $150,000-$170,000, based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
