Responsibilities Offering up to $1,000 Sign-on Bonus Position Summary - Full Time PM Shift 10am-6:30pm The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting cooks with basic food preparation tasks, serving meals to patients and staff, service preparation, and maintaining the kitchen work areas. Responsibilities include keeping equipment, utensils, and serving areas clean and orderly, emptying trash and compost, dishwashing, stocking unit snacks, ensuring the correct number of trays are delivered to units, assisting cooks to prepare the line for service, helping stock supply shelves in storage areas, checking in deliveries, and reporting any evidence of pests or rodents in kitchen or storage areas to the Dietary Manager. Must attend mandatory in-service education meetings and apply information to job tasks. Additional responsibilities are included as needed for the overall operation of the kitchen. Qualifications Education/Experience: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Two (2) years of experience in quantity cooking. A basic knowledge of modified diets; training in food service sanitation and possession of food service sanitation certification is required.
