Excellent benefits package: Even at 24 hours per week, you are fully benefit eligible What You Will Do Perform start up, set-up, operation, rinse and disinfection of dialysis machines, as well as appropriate maintenance of ancillary equipment in the dialysis unit and documentation of such. Assist in maintaining proper levels of supplies. Set appropriate alarm limits, monitor patient's response to dialysis. Discontinue dialysis, remove needles, and clot patient's access after dialysis treatments. Will act accordingly to support the goal of quality patient care. Patient Care: Assist patients with weight, temperature, access preparation and transferring. Take blood pressure and figure target loss, verify with RN. What You Need Ability to communicate and work independently. Ability to react and perform under stress and emergency situations. LPNs require a graduation from an accredited school for Practical Nursing or its equivalent and hold a current license in the State of Nebraska. Certified Techs require certification from a CMS-approved program. HS diploma or GED required. Certified in BLS. Valid Nebraska driver's license and good driving record. Must provide care for and develop rapport with aged residents and demonstrate a genuine interest in nursing and a desire to attend the frail elderly.
