You might be a perfect fit for our open insurance customer service representative role. You'll be in charge of giving current policyholders excellent customer service by resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions. Additional tasks include generating policy quotes and providing coverage advice for new and potential customers. Our ideal candidate has previous customer service experience and has excellent rapport with clients. If this sounds like you, please start your application today Responsibilities Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email, and on paper Support teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects Research and resolve coverage questions Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling Assist with other office duties as they arise Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and monitor the situation to ensure resolution Track current marketing activities to respond to insurance-related inquiries Make accurate modifications to consumer policies Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify all questions are answered Confirm client insurance coverage and provide evidence of insurance papers to policyholders Qualifications You must be fluent in Spanish, written and spoken This is an in-person position, so you must live within driving distance of our office location in Fullerton, CA, and have appropriate means of transportation Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator Type quickly and accurately Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Organized, structured, punctual, and will follow the rules Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest Property and Casualty license preferred (required within the first 60 days of employment) We will train and educate the successful candidate; however, having previous experience in the insurance industry is a bonus Possesses basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systems High school diploma or GED equivalent needed A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required Compensation $20 - $23 hourly About Allco Fullerton Insurance Agency At our insurance agency, we foster a tight-knit, purpose-driven team committed to creating meaningful, positive impacts on the lives of individuals, families, and small businesses.
