Responsibilities: Answers incoming calls to the customer service team. Receives customer inquiries and complaints. Answers questions and provides information about services. Clearly and accurately documents issues. Resolves customer inquiries relating to transportation; communicates resolution to customers. Other duties as assigned. Experience Preferred: Up to 2 years of customer service or basic office experience preferred. Skills and Knowledge Required: Basic to intermediate computer knowledge/PC experience required. Proven interpersonal skills dealing with the public required. Pleasant telephone voice/manner required. Strong verbal communication and listening skills are required. Additional Requirements: Must be bilingual, proficient in speaking and understanding English and Spanish. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and exhibit good interpersonal skills with others, at all levels both internal and external. Must be able to deal patiently and friendly with external customer problems and complaints and remain courteous when faced with difficult or angry customers. Must be a team player yet able to work well independently. Must be able to work on various shifts or flexible work schedules. Must have familiarity with the local service area. Physical Demands: Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities. Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer. The work environments are generally noisy, and the employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen. Performs physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and repetitive hand-wrist motion. Limited light lifting, balancing, walking, and stooping required.
