Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Working in a Level II Trauma Center, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional diagnostic evaluations and imaging services. A strong knowledge of anatomy and aseptic techniques is essential for this role, as well as experience in various imaging modalities such as X-Ray, Mammography, and Sonography. 13-week contract 40 hours Shift: Varies Variable Shifts 0630 – 1500; 0700-1530; 0800-1630; 1000-1830; 1400-2200; 1500-2230; 2200-0700 Float Requirements: The provider will be covering both CT and X-ray On Call Requirement: NO Certs: AHA BLS, CRT license; Fluoro Cert; Venipuncture, AART Experience: Two years of experience in the specialty required Will be using a Philips aquillon scanner Will accept local travelers Responsibilities Perform CT scans according to established protocols and procedures. Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety standards and aseptic techniques. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations. Maintain equipment functionality by conducting routine checks and reporting any malfunctions. Assist in the training of new staff or students in CT procedures and protocols. Document all imaging procedures accurately in the patient's medical record. Participate in quality assurance programs to uphold high standards of care.
