Overview \_MULTIPLE SHIFTS AND SCHEDULES AVAILABLE; 36 - 40 HOUR OPTIONS\_ We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center and be proficient in medical imaging techniques, particularly CT scans. This role is essential for providing accurate diagnostic evaluations that aid in patient care and treatment decisions. A strong understanding of medical terminology and physiology is crucial for success in this position. Duties Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care plans. Maintain equipment by regularly inspecting, cleaning, and troubleshooting CT machinery to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect patients and staff during imaging procedures. Document patient information, scan results, and any relevant observations accurately in the medical records system. Educate patients about the CT scanning process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques, including mammography when applicable. Qualifications Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a focus on CT imaging preferred. Previous experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical imaging principles, physiology, and medical terminology. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members effectively. Familiarity with urgent care settings is a plus but not mandatory. ARRT Required AHA BLS certification required. Skills: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU.
