Cross Domain Solution Engineer The Opportunity: Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture—you actually know how to bake it in. As a Cross Domain Solution (CDS) Engineer on our team, you have the chance to design tactical networks in support of the Air Force. You Have: 6 years of experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for DoD 3 years of experience using AWS Security Services, such as IAM, KMS, Security Hub and AWS VPC's, configuring security groups and network ACLs 3 years of experience detecting, responding and mitigating security incidents using tools, such as AWS CloudTrail and CloudWatch 2 years of experience in cross domain solutions or network diode technologies, including either Cloud Diode solutions or physical data diodes Experience supporting large system of systems Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and continuous ATO documentation, including conducting security control validation, and developing and maintaining system authorization packages Experience engineering and solving problems across hardware and software integrated solutions with technologies, such as Trusted Thin Client, Secure Operating Systems, or Cross Domain Solutions guard or access Ability to investigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications or technologies and develop or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology Engineering, or Math Ability to obtain a Security IAT Level 2 Certification within 60 days of start date Nice If You Have: 4 years of experience engineering solutions across Trusted Thin Client, Secure Operating Systems, Cross Domain Solutions guard or access Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle to translate strategic cyber objectives, technology, and environmental conditions into engineering outcomes and solutions, such as Raise the Bar (RTB) initiatives Ability to develop system concepts Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
