Job Description

We are looking for Volunteers to join a team of Crisis Response Volunteers to help support any emergencies and other incidents that occur in Uttlesford. Working with partner organisations (Red Cross, Uttlesford District Council, Transport, etc.), we often provide humanitarian aid to refugees arriving in the country due to our proximity to Stansted Airport. This role will be varied depending on needs and can include activities such as arranging shelter, travel, food, and medical information for people arriving or residing in Uttlesford during local, national, or international emergencies. You will work in a small team alongside other organisations. Full training will be provided. This role will be on an as-needed basis, occasionally at short notice depending on the emergency and situation.
