Hill International is seeking a Cost Specialist in Pomona, California Responsibilities Working cost with multiple projects - $100M annual budgets, 150 projects. Prepares Budgeting/Forecasting, Actualization, and variance analysis. Develop or prepare routine and ad-hoc reports to assist PMs and OU partners to monitor, manage, and forecast costs (e.g. budget, actual, commitment, and contingency) for assigned projects and/or programs or in response to internal or external data requests. Develop and maintain project budgets/baselines, short- and long-term forecasts, and expenditure plans. Collaborate with and obtain data/information from various project stakeholders. Work will include special projects analyzing large amounts of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality checks. Minimum Requirements Possesses 4 years' experience in cost controls/management, data analytics, or finance required. Bachelor's Degree in applicable field. Data analytics experience (ability to analyze large amounts of data) required. Skilled at Excel and Access Database required. Transmission or utility experience preferred. SAP experience preferred. SAS knowledge preferred. Python Programming preferred. Effective communicator (verbal and written). Able to speak with many different levels of management. Attitude and willingness to learn. Hybrid work schedule. The salary range for this position is $90,000 -$122,000 . The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
