About The Position In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing the performance of short and long-term projects. You will be working closely with program managers and other internal/external stakeholders to optimize program budgeting and identify potential risks. Primary Responsibilities: · Budgeting, tracking, and forecasting of short- and long-term projects · Project costing and pricing support for new business · Customer and IRAD projects financial progress reporting · Bookings, billings and revenue forecasting · Gross margin reports and analysis on projects · Identify and assess project financial risks · Budget variance analysis and corrective recommendations · Project cash flow projections · Inventory tracking on projects · Develop and implement financial models, project cost controls, and ROI analysis · Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support · Any other job-related issues as required by the business and management · Monitor industry trends and economic factors to determine potential impacts on project costs Requirements Recommended Experience/Education: · Min 2 years of FP&A/programs experience · BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related quantitative majors · Experience in costing NRE in the Military and/or Space industry · Manufacturing and BOM Costing experience Recommended Skills/Requirements: · Excellent analytical skills and ability to create complex financial models and reports · Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers. · Must have advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Midsize ERP Systems · Must have advanced knowledge of dynamic array formulas in MS Excel · Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality · Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently · Detail-Oriented skills · Can display a positive attitude in discussion, including if there are conflicts Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US Benefits: Medical, Dental Vision (company pays 75%, employee pays 25%) Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Paid Time off (Vacation, Sick Pay, Holidays), 401K with a 4% match.
