Job Summary As a Quality Control Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to ensure food safety and quality of the food. Also, you will promote continuous and sustained improvements by ensuring compliance with all regulations and company safety policies and procedures Job Description Experience Required: 1 to 3 years Experience Desired: HACCP/FSMA Training and previous Quality Inspection Experience Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent plus up to 18 months of additional training Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds Job Responsibilities Perform daily pre-operational and GMP inspections and associated paperwork. Report concerns to supervisor. Communicate with operations when Critical Control Points (CCP) are out of tolerance. Make decisions to place items on hold or stop production when non-conformances relating to food safety or quality occur Enter raw material information and product recipes into Genesis database for label creation. Assist with the creation of finished good specifications Monitor adherence to quality assurance programs (GMP, HACCP, GFSI). Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervisor Perform environmental swabbing of surfaces and maintain program compliance Perform calibrations of testing equipment and maintain equipment calibration records and program in Share Point Coach and train production team members on correct food safety procedures and GMPs. Perform any additional quality training as required Assist the Quality Assurance Lead and Quality Assurance supervisor with other tasks as needed Back-up to QA Lead (as required) J-18808-Ljbffr
