Job Description: The Coordinator of Residential Services is a live-off position that supports the operational functions of the residence halls with supervisory responsibilities for 1-2 support staff and 10-14 Student positions. The position works closely with the Director of College Housing to develop and implement efficient operational practices and strategic priorities focusing on communication, programming, and supporting residential student retention. The Coordinator is responsible for establishing and implementing short and long-range housing goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures. This position monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness and enacts changes for continuous improvement, utilizing various software platforms to support student success (e.g., eRezLife, Banner, Maxient). This position fosters collaborative partnerships with faculty, staff, and College partners, ensuring best practices in residential life and housing operations that support students' academic, social, and professional success. REPORTS TO: Director of College Housing Supervision: Support Staff (CSEA) - 2 Transportation Staff (CSEA) - 6 Student Staff - 13 RESPONSIBILITIES&DUTIES: College Housing: Manage day-to-day operations of the College's comprehensive housing program. Support and train professional and student Residential Staff. Intervene in any crisis that arises on campus, responding appropriately per established department and college procedures. Process Purchase Orders and online payments; certify Procurement Card and compare expenditures with SMRT system. Maintain vendor and professional membership information and correspondence. Supervise Housing Assistants through weekly team meetings to address housing needs in each residential facility. Transportation: Oversee student transportation including payroll and supervision of the transport team. Coordinate club and organizational transportation in conjunction with the Office of Student Engagement. Coordinate break transportation with outside vendors and the transport team. Other: Participate in College and Department recruitment efforts. Assist with research and evaluation projects. Participate in New Student Orientation and Admissions events. Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Knowledge and experience with student development programming. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of housing and technology solutions software (e.g., Maxient, eRezLife). Ability to serve as a role model and mentor for students and staff. Good interpersonal skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent walking, climbing stairs, moderate to heavy lifting, and moving equipment/furniture. Frequent typing for extended periods of time. EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of three years of professional experience in residential life and housing is required. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is preferred.
