GCP, part of Saint-Gobain, GCP Applied Technologies is a leading global provider of construction products that include high-performance specialty construction chemicals and building materials. GCP partners with producers, contractors, designers, and engineers to achieve performance and sustainability goals. Main responsibilities: Conduct cutting-edge research in materials testing, focusing on cement characterization and testing. Conduct a variety of lab experiments and establish lab protocols, analyze data and provide valuable insights to drive continuous improvement. Utilize state-of-the-art technology including machine-learning to optimize cement manufacturing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete field proof-of-concept on a breakthrough project using machine-learning for the construction industry to reduce carbon emissions. Learn from industry leaders and expand your knowledge in materials science and characterization. Requirements: Candidates for Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Biochemistry, Applied Physics, Environmental Science and related. Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Ability to program in Python a plus. Experience working in a laboratory. Good oral and written communication skills (English). Ability to work well as part of a team. Passion for research, materials testing, and a willingness to learn.
