CONTROLLER 9831 Exciting opportunity with a well-established growing oil and gas investment company. The Controller will be responsible for all general accounting duties, working with outside auditors and outsourced accounting consultants. This position will report to the CFO and provides an equity component. Responsibilities: Manage the month-end close process related to the operations of the company, including all revenue and cost-related accounts, margin analysis and timely reporting of results Prepare for and liaise with external auditors, providing all documentation as needed Understand JIB, Revenue and AP at a detailed level Conduct monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting Prepare financial statements Provide ad hoc assistance to include joint interest billings, revenue, and special projects Review and recommend changes to accounting processes and procedures Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA required Public Accounting experience required – ideally from Big 4 5-8 years of experience in industry or public accounting with the oil and gas industry Proficient with Microsoft Excel Highly motivated personality, with high energy and high integrity IND ZR
