Job Description Seeking a Superintendent to work closely with all members of the project team and supervise key capital improvement projects on commercial properties. Provide effective and consistent supervision and oversight of select directly contracted trades and of construction work performed by the General Contractor to support the requirements of the contract and delivering the project meeting high expectations with respect to quality, safety and schedule commitments. Communication, team building, problem solving and leadership are critical characteristics. Willing to work nights and weekends if required. Project Responsibilities Coordinate and Manage Construction with Sub-Contractors and General Contractor Communicate and manage Scheduling Manage conformity to corporate quality standards Coordinate with other trades Be observant that the progress of the project is meeting the scheduled completion dates Generate three (3) week look ahead’s weekly and publish to Subs, GC, and management team Daily safety observation and maintenance. Daily reports, oversee RFI’s, schedules using MS Project, manage Submittals, drive meeting note/job progress documentation, responsible for change order management Supervise and manage project completion and job close-out Manage completion of punch lists Requirements Candidates must have the ability to identify the need, remove barriers, build a team and know how to make things happen. Exceptional organization and communication skills (oral and written).
