Job Description Job Description Commercial property owner seeks an experienced Lease Administrator with strong commercial real estate and/or legal secretarial experience to manage company’s portfolio consisting of retail strip centers, industrial space and office buildings. Primary Responsibilities: Draft and negotiate leases in collaboration with leasing and property management professionals. Prepare detailed lease abstracts to track pertinent terms. Author communications to tenants, e.g. delivery of possession, default notices. Initiate court filings and collections, track payment plans and make recommendations for resolving accounts in arrears. Maintain detailed archives of lease documents and correspondence with tenants. Report insurance claims to carriers and track all claims until they have been settled. Track certificates of insurance (COI’s) received from tenants. Process paperwork for move-in and move-out of tenants. Review Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations and estimates prepared by accounting department. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 5 years of lease administration experience. Ability to multi-task and prioritize a wide range of responsibilities. Strong verbal, writing and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Compensation: Generous salary and benefits package for the right candidate.
