Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision to assigned staff, and direct individual and group substance disorder (SUD) counseling to the residents of this client. This position will also provide administrative/management support to the Residential Program Director. The AD will consistently act in accordance with the client's Standards of Care, including maintaining professional ethics, boundaries and client confidentiality while working with the tools of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Medication Assisted Treatment. Essential Functions for Clinical Supervisor Ensure that all services are delivered in compliance with agency standards, regulatory and contractual requirements Provide supportive and empathic individual counseling Maintain effective documentation and record keeping systems, including but not limited to: biopsychosocial assessment, treatment planning, reassessment, progress notes, case management notes, consent forms, data collection and aftercare and discharge planning and follow-up Maintain current working knowledge of referral sources such as housing, medical, mental health, MAT, outpatient counseling, and dental, legal, self-help groups and others to provide comprehensive services to the program clients Facilitate groups as assigned and complete required documentation Assist in interviewing, hiring, training and professional development of new clinicians Supervise, direct, train and evaluate assigned staff, and maintain appropriate supervision documentation Provide emergency support to program staff, as needed Assist in program evaluation and development, problem solving and planning Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills Required for Clinical Supervisor LMHC, LCSW or LADC-1 Minimum two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience Minimum two experience in a supervisor role in a community social action program, SUD treatment program, mental health or other similar and related organization Excellent time management and workflow prioritization Self-starter who can work collaboratively or independently Demonstrated ability to work successfully in multi-cultural settings with diverse client populations Bi-lingual / Bi-cultural is a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Proficiency with MS Office Suite Educational Requirements for Clinical Supervisor Master’s Degree Required LADC-1, LMHC, LCSW Licensing Hours/FT for Clinical Supervisor Full time (40 hours per week) with varying hours; with expectation of 1-2 weekend shifts a month Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible schedule Free parking Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: Boston, MA 02122: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
