Job Summary: CFP has an exciting opening for a Clinical Director to lead a talented Home-Based team delivering intensive family therapy and support to diverse populations in the Boston and Greater Boston area. This role is responsible for the inception, growth, and sustainment of our Family Support and Stabilization (FSS) DCF contracted programs as well as the In-Home Therapy (IHT) programs through the Managed Care Entities (MCEs). Benefits: Competitive Salary based on experience and licensure Trainings and Professional Development Hybrid position Paid Holidays 3 weeks of time off benefits Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Pathway to a long-term career JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operations and Administration Oversight of the census billing and invoicing process; reviewing for accuracy and signing the appropriate forms Oversight of the payroll process, including mileage and staff expenses; reviewing for accuracy and signing the appropriate forms Assists in the development of the annual budget and continuous tracking of revenue and expenses throughout the fiscal year Oversight of the productivity of staff to include the management of the assignment and follow through of expected hours for each Clinician Management and oversight of the program budget; monthly review of office expenses; make adjustments as needed Oversight of the quantitative and qualitative record review process for client files; assurance of compliance with contract, agency, accreditation, and licensure expectations and standards Hiring, supervision and training of FCT and FSS teams Oversight of the administrative tasks associated with the disciplinary actions, resignation, and termination of staff Marketing and Business Development Implement a marketing plan for the region that incorporates knowledge of all current and potential referral sources. Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources; introductory calls to collaterals/referral sources as needed; securing appointments for meetings or presentations Provide presentations, both formal and informal, that effectively describe the FCT model of intensive in-home services and other services offered Follow up on meetings with collaterals and referral systems with letters or e-mails documenting the meeting and outcomes, etc. Meeting with collateral and referral agencies for specific problem-solving and negotiation; assistance with the design of innovative programming to meet community needs Service Delivery and Client Care ● Oversee all home-based/family stabilization&support program functions, including data reporting and maintaining adherence to policy specifications established by CBHI, MCEs, and DCF. ● Serve as the FCT/IHT Program Director and supervise the Program Directors for the FSS DCF services ● Grow and sustain the community-based FSS DCF contracted programs by managing relationships with referral sources, hiring and training CB/FSS personnel, and expansion efforts ● Direct IHT clinicians on consistently maintaining high-quality, best-practice services, including timely and accurate completion of assessments, treatment goals, contact notes, releases of information, and other aspects of the youth’s health record; consistent engagement with families; routine care coordination; risk and safety planning and response; family-specific clinical service delivery; and discharge and aftercare planning. ● Engage in weekly individual supervision and team meetings with the clinical team to address clinical and administrative topics. Supervision includes understanding the impact of culture, gender, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and other identities on the clinicians’ and families’ well-being, values, goals, and desired treatment outcomes. ● Provide trainings on a variety of topics to FSS clinicians and Case Managers. ● Attend meetings with external stakeholders such as DCF, MCEs, CBHI representatives, other CBHI agencies, and the FCT Foundation ● Coordinate with Waitlist Manager to manage incoming referrals, waitlist processes, and case assignments to clinical team ● Provide on-call supervision, inclusive of, but not limited to, crisis and coaching day by day as needed. ● Engage in FCT certification tasks to gain Supervisor Certification ● Facilitate clinicians’ certification in the Family Centered Treatment Model and other FSS certifications Education Requirements: ● Masters degree in the human services field as approved by CBHI MCEs (such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Education in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapist, and other similar degrees) ● Must possess an independent license in a mental health field (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, licensed psychologist) which is active and in good standing in MA Experience and Qualification Requirements: ● Must have a minimum of a Master’s level and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the field ● Must have and maintain CANS certification ● Must have a driver's license without restrictions and reliable transportation ● Must have flexibility and availability to participate in on-call responsibilities ● This position is hybrid; you must be able to travel to the office and have an at-home set-up conducive to maintaining private conversations and documentation.
